Frank Shaw is the skipper of Carrick Lee and the
current owner of the very popular Bridge Street Restaurant, which specilises in fish and is run by Frank's wife Shelley.
Frank is an experienced skipper with a 60 mile
license. He is qualified in first aid, fire fighting, sea survival
and radio communication.
Frank is a former distant water fishermen and
professional bass angler who now writes regularly for Boat Fishing
Monthly. Among the highlights of Frank's career was taking Hell's Kitchen star Gordon Ramsey fishing, making a news documentary with lovely weather girl Kaddy Lee Preston, and starring in the massive angling cult DVD 'Should av been here yesterday (which strangely enough is available on this site).
Frank is the keenest of anglers, who has worked as a guide for saltwater fly fishermen, where his local knowledge proves invaluable. A local bass specialist, Frank is also keen to explore deep water wrecks for cod, pollock and especially congers. Frank is just as keen to help beginners, juniors, OAP's and ladies as he is to take the top angling crews. Frank will be more than willing to locate B & B accommodation in the area.
